Placements are designed for students aged 14-16 who are presently in education within the Dudley borough and have an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
All our current 2020 programmes are as follows:
Central School Work Experience Programme
We run a structured Work Experience programme for secondary school students, accommodating individuals aged 14 to 16 from schools within the Dudley borough.
Programme dates are: 6th to 10th July – 13th to 17th July – 27th to 31st July .

- The Kingswinford School & Science College
- Windsor High School and Sixth Form
- Bishop Milner Catholic College

- Summerhill School
We do not accept any individual applications, each participating school will be given an allocated amount of placements. If you are a student from one our partner schools and would like to apply for work experience, you will need to contact your schools work experience coordinator.
We only accept applications from students from participating schools.
Therapy Services Programme
Therapy Services in Dudley offer one day work observation placements in both physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
You must be aged 15 years or over at the time of placement and be able to demonstrate an interest in or, be considering pursuing a career in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
Due to high demands for our work observation placements, your application is not a guarantee that you will be successful. Please note – dates may not be during specific work experience weeks.
- Physiotherapy work observation placement is held on a Thursday.
- Occupational therapy work observation placement is held on a Tuesday.

Paediatrics and Neonates Programme
Paediatrics and Neonates offer work experience placements for students in Year 10 who either live or attend school within the Dudley borough for one week only. Students who apply should have a future career interest in working within a paediatrics or neonatal setting.
