People in the Black Country are being encouraged to think carefully about which NHS service they use during the upcoming industrial action. Resident doctors, formerly known as junior doctors, are planning to strike for five consecutive days, starting from 7am on Friday 25 July until 7am on Wednesday 30 July.

Throughout the summer, essential resurfacing works will take place in the Russells Hall Hospital visitor car parks. This will begin with the maternity car park on Saturday 19th July.

Over a two-week period, contractors will close the maternity car park in sections to allow resurfacing with minimal disruption. We would ask that if you are visiting the hospital that you allow additional time ahead of your visit. We will share details of the resurfacing for the main visitor car park in the coming weeks.
