Harry is the Simulation Technician for the Simulation Centre based in the Undergraduate Centre. His main job is to open, close and maintain the centre, and its equipment such as the manikins. Harry got into simulation training after completing a 2-year apprenticeship, working as the Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician. From this apprenticeship, Harry achieved Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ’s in Business Administration and has recently achieved his Level 4 qualification in line with his current post. He therefore helps with some administration duties within the department. Harry enjoys the practicality of simulation training and the diverse nature of the role as the team train a variety of staff from different areas, both in and out of the hospital.
