Ladies Walk is a privately owned purpose-built facility in the north of the borough situated in Sedgley. Part of the property is leased to the council, the remaining space being occupied by local NHS providers. The building accommodates patient facing services from Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, Shropshire Community NHS Trust, and Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, as well as housing the Sedgley Library Service.
Following the meeting on 21st May regarding the future of Ladies Walk in Sedgley, we are committed to continuing to provide services in the Sedgley locality. We understand the depth of feeling within the community and have heard your views on Ladies Walk and the services that you currently access.
We remain in conversation with the landlord through our council colleagues and continue to explore the viability of retaining services in the building but no decision or conclusion has been reached yet. A further public meeting will be arranged and we will continue to keep you updated.
