Join us this summer to help raise funds for The Dudley Group NHS Charity children’s appeal by taking part in our annual Superhero Family Fun Run and fun day on Sunday 9th June 2024!
The 5km running route will take you around the lake and through the grounds of Himley Hall and Park so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while raising money for our charity. We welcome people of all abilities, and you are free to either run or walk the route. Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children under 12 who need to be accompanied by an adult.
We kindly ask that all participants try and raise a minimum suggested sponsorship amount of £50. Last year the event raised and incredible £5,000 for the appeal and this year we would love to exceed this amount!
If you are not a runner, you can come along to our family fun day instead! There will be lots of stalls and activities to browse and take part in such as face painting, fun fair, children’s activities, pizza’s, cake sales and much more!
Dress up in your best superhero costume as we will be running a best dressed individual and family competition.
The times of the event are:
10:00am – Family Fun Day Open
10:45am – Fun Run Warm Up
11:00am- Start of 5km Fun Run
15:00pm – End of Family Fun Day
Pay & Display car parking charges at Himley Hall & Park are in operation, the machines accept cash or card, the following prices are below:
- Up to 2 hours parking £3.00
- All day parking £4.00
Toilets are available either inside Himley Hall or at the back of the house. To use the toilets behind the house please follow the signs.
We will have a range of lovely food stalls to choose from, however if you require a hot drink, please visit the Himley House Cafeteria.
Dogs are welcome to attend the fun day, however, please be mindful that the park promotes a no dogs section of the park. All dogs must be on leads during the event.
