We want to ensure that filling in the survey is as easy as possible for you, so here are a few key points to note.
The National Staff Survey 2024 will be arriving in your inbox from Tuesday 1st October. A survey will be sent to all staff on payroll on or before 1st September. If you joined the Trust after this date you will not receive a survey this year.
All surveys will be sent via email to you nhs.net email account. If you would like to opt for an alternative email please contact dgft.staffsurveys@nhs.net
What will the email look like?
The email, with your individual survey link, will come from ‘Staff Survey 2024 picker_surveys@picker.org.’ The subject line will be Staff Survey 2024: Invitation.
We conduct the survey each autumn, with questions that are set nationally. This is so that there is a focused listening effort throughout the whole NHS at the same time, allowing us to look at our own results and identify how these help us celebrate success and also what we should be focusing on improving.
We know that we are still in a period of recovery, we know that there will always be more we can all do to make Dudley Group the best place to work, but we are also keen to understand why staff enjoy working for our Trust, so that we can continue to make progress.
Teams and divisions have been busy throughout the year sharing the good and the not so good themes from the 2023 survey and asking people how we can best improve the workplace experience for all our people.
We really need your feedback, so please take 10-15 minutes to complete your survey in your inbox from Monday 2nd October.
Remember that the report which the Trust receives is completely anonymous so no individual’s responses can be identified. We understand that this is often an area of concern for staff – so please take this as firm confirmation and assurance that anonymity is guaranteed!
The survey is carried out for us by an external company, Picker. The results will be sent straight back to Picker and they will collate all the answers into a report that will be sent to us later on in the year – this report is completely anonymous, as a Trust we do not receive any information relating to individual responses, and furthermore where teams are small we don’t even receive a result, so as to protect anonymity.
