Charity mascot design challenge

From 27th November to 8th January, children are invited to design a mascot for The Dudley Group NHS Charity, with the lucky winner receiving a special invitation to a one to one session with an Illustrator, bringing the winning idea to life.

The Dudley Group NHS Charity enhances the wellbeing and experience of patients and staff by providing services and facilitates not routinely funded by The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust or by the NHS.

The challenge, which is open to children aged 7-11, has been created to help the charity find a Mascot to feature in their content and events.

The challenge involves designing a character which best represents the Dudley Group NHS Charity and the work they do, with the winning design becoming the brand-new charity mascot.

NHS staff, schools, teachers, and parents are being encouraged to get their children and classes involved in the challenge, with Twinkl, an educational resource company have created resources for the charity to help inspire children and classrooms across the region.

The mascot will feature on the charity’s flyers, posters, and websites, for many years to come and is scheduled to go into physical production ready for a season of events from spring next year, with the new mascot’s first visit being the school and the child that created it and brought it to life.

Do you have a child or a class who would like to get involved in the design challenge?
