A host of midwifery and nursing opportunities across the Black Country will be showcased at a recruitment event this spring.
The Black Country Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) has organised the session at West Bromwich Albion’s ground at The Hawthorns, to run between 9am and 2pm on Wednesday 3rd May.
Black Country Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and Neonatal Nurses are all supporting a national campaign to reduce the number of baby deaths in the region where unsafe sleeping habits have been identified. The Black Country Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) is highlighting the Lullaby Trust’s Safer Sleep Week which runs from today (Monday 13) until Friday 17 March.
Junior doctors working for the Trust are taking industrial action on 13th, 14thand 15th March.
We now have a brand new, state-of-the-art NHS blood test centre at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
The site offers free parking, excellent transport links and longer opening hours, which ultimately means more appointments for patients.

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is working closely with Staffordshire Police on its on-going investigation, ‘Operation Anzu’. The Police are looking into concerns about the appropriateness of care provided by an individual who worked in the NHS and previously worked at both Russells Hall Hospital and Royal Stoke Hospital. This individual no-longer works at the either hospital.
