The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust provides a specialist cancer service for the population of Dudley and also for patients from the adjoining boroughs of Sandwell, South Staffs and the Wyre Forest. This page contains information about Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT), including chemotherapy, targeted therapies, additional supportive treatments and SACT related procedures. The information on this page aims to support the wider team of Healthcare Professionals in ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality, evidence-based cancer care.
Multidisciplinary Care
Cancer care is shifting from a disease-focused to a patient-centred approach resulting in an increased need to address these concerns. Multidisciplinary Care has been identified as a key enabler in the provision of high-quality treatment and care for cancer patients. Multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) aim at improving communication, coordination and decision making between the healthcare professionals. Providing holistic care involves that all the relevant disciplines are able to participate in the clinical management of patients. The below services are being offered:

- Triage helpline: on ext. 2028 (Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 17:00) or ext. 2235 at all other times
- Home Chemotherapy Nursing Team: on ext. 3426 (Monday-Friday 08:00 to 16:00)
