A research study must be given Trust approval before it can be carried out to assure that it conforms to high clinical, ethical and governance standards. The Research & Development department provides a comprehensive service to professionals from both a clinical and academic setting who wants to conduct a research study within the Trust. We are here to provide you with help and advice to ensure the smooth setup and effective delivery of a research study. Research in the wider West Midlands Region
Recently, the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) has merged 3 local Clinical Research Networks (CRNs) into one large West Midlands CRN (WMCRN). Across the West Midlands the NEW CRN will enhance collaboration and partnership across 30 West Midlands NHS Trust.
