Staff groups

Allied Health Professionals
Allied health professions (AHPs) are health professionals that provide a range of diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative service.
Allied Health ProfessionalsMedical and Dental
Doctors assess and manage medical treatment
Health Science Services
Together they provide the scientific backbone of the NHS and their work underpins 80% of all diagnoses. Their role stretches across the whole innovation pathway from academic and translational research, to patient-centred service transformation.
Nursing and Midwifery
Delivering care to patients across most departments.
Support Services
Support services staff carry out a range of tasks in different parts of the NHS. Some keep people or equipment safe, while others transport patients and equipment around hospitals and other NHS sites.
Administrative Services
Acting as first point of contact for the department, responsible for opening, logging and distributing mail, answering telephone and face to face enquiries from all staff, patients and the general public, providing information, directing and prioritising queries. Our administrative managers are important cogs in the NHS team who allow our frontline staff to concentrate on our patients and the public.
Apprenticeships
We deliver a successful programme in administration and healthcare support work. Our apprenticeships are offered on a fixed term contract, with a view to offering permanent positions where possible
