Governor elections – help shape the future of healthcare in Dudley

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is inviting its members and staff to stand for election to become a Trust governor and be involved in shaping the future of healthcare in Dudley.
Elections are open for vacancies in the public constituencies of North Dudley and Central Dudley and the staff constituency of Allied Health Professionals, Pharmacy and Healthcare Scientists.

Anyone who is a foundation trust member is eligible to stand for election and the Trust is encouraging its 20,000 members to consider becoming actively involved in the Council of Governors.
Governors provide a vital link between the hospitals and the communities who use the Trust’s services.

“Standing for election is a great opportunity for patients, their partners and carers to improve standards of care and to influence how we provide healthcare in the Trust,” says The Dudley Group’s chair Sir David Nicholson.

“Governors can be a voice for staff or a particular community and advocate for positive change by sharing that voice with the board of directors.”
