Audiology
I am going to the clinic to have my hearing checked by an Audiologist. A grown up will come with me. I will go into the building from the car park.

I will go through the double doors on the left into the Audiology department.

I will go to reception with my grown up to tell them that I am here. After we have said “hello” to the receptionist, we will go to the waiting room.

If I have to wait, I can play with the toys.

When it is my turn, the Audiologist will call me, and I will walk down the corridor to the Audiology room.

This is what the Audiology room looks like.

First, the Audiologist might ask the grown up some questions about me and my hearing.
This is the Audiologist’s special light.

Next, the Audiologist might look in my ears with the special light.
Then the Audiologist might use these special machines to help my ears to draw a picture and check how well they are working.

When I get my hearing checked I might wear headphones like these.

Finally, the Audiologist will talk with the grown up that came with me. Then it will be time to leave.
