We’re proud to be Dudley

We have much to celebrate and be proud of at The Dudley Group. In recent years significant investments in our theatre space have led to the development of a hybrid theatre and the advent of robotic surgery across several specialties, aligning our hospitals with national peers.

We have also achieved several firsts, including being the first in the country to roll out electronic eye referrals and conducting the UK’s first remote robotic proctoring surgery. We have an award winning paediatric virtual ward and are the first trust to run a complex nutrition virtual ward supporting patients to stay in their own homes with support from the hospital teams.

Investing in our future

Our future plans are ambitious. The Trust is working towards achieving University Hospital Status in partnership with Aston University and over the next 12 months, we will also continue to improve our services, including the development and redesign of our Emergency Department resuscitation areas.
