NOWT Women’s Health Bus Tour Comes to Dudley for International Women’s Day

Residents and visitors to Dudley are warmly invited to a free, friendly women’s health event as the NOWT Women’s Health Bus Tour rolls into Dudley Town Centre on Friday 6 March 2026, celebrating International Women’s Day.

Taking place from 10am to 4pm, near the fountains and markets, the event is open to everyone and designed to make conversations about women’s health more accessible, supportive and stigma-free.

A community-powered approach to women’s health

NOWT – Navigating Our Womanhood Together – is a new collective of 12 local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, working alongside the NHS to support people across the Black Country with all aspects of women’s health.

The collective brings together organisations including Changing Lives, Cranstoun, THIA CIC, European Welfare Association, Bread for Life, JAC Healthcare, SLAM! Basketball, The Way Youth Zone, Steppingstones into the Community, Beacon Centre, Sandwell Visually Impaired, Breakthru, and NHS Black Country ICB.

NOWT exists to connect people, share knowledge and build community around menstrual health, menopause, reproductive health and wider women’s wellbeing – recognising that everyone’s experience is different.

Whether you menstruate, are navigating menopause, have health questions, or support someone who does, NOWT offers a welcoming space to talk, learn and feel supported.

What to expect on the bus

Visitors to the NOWT bus can drop in at any time during the day to meet friendly professionals and community organisations, including experts from The Menopause School, MSI Reproductive Choices, the NHS, and other partners.

On board, you’ll find:

  • Friendly, informal chats about menstrual and reproductive health
  • Information and support around breast and ovarian cancer
  • Mini health checks
  • Free wellbeing goodies
  • The chance to meet the NOWT collective and learn about local support available in your community

No appointments are needed, and there’s no pressure – just supportive conversations and practical information.
