Take a deep breath and join us for our uplifting community event
Breathing is something we rarely stop to think about — until it becomes difficult. For many people in Dudley living with asthma, COPD, or other respiratory conditions, every breath carries a story of resilience. Love Your Lungs is our invitation to come together, slow down, and discover simple, supportive ways to breathe easier.
On 2 July 2026, from 10:30am to 1:30pm, the DY1 Building on Stafford Street (DY1 1RT) will open its doors for a warm, welcoming community event designed to uplift, empower, and connect. Walk‑ins are not just allowed — they’re encouraged. Whether you join us for one session or stay for the whole morning, you’ll be greeted with a smile, a cuppa, and a space to breathe.
Throughout the event, visitors can drop into friendly, accessible sessions including calming Tai Chi, energising Singing for Lung Health, gentle breathing control exercises, and soothing guided relaxation. Our respiratory team will be on hand for inhaler guidance, personalised advice, and practical tips to help you manage your lung health day‑to‑day.
But this event is about more than respiratory care. It’s about community connection. It’s about discovering local wellbeing groups, creative activities, and supportive networks across Dudley. It’s about taking a moment for yourself, meeting others who understand, and realising you’re not alone.
