Our Group Clinical Services Plan sits under our group strategy as a key enabler to achieving our shared ambition to continually improve the quality of care we provide for the communities we serve.

Delivering outstanding care is what motivates our colleagues every day. Over recent months, we have taken the opportunity to engage, reflect and review our services, identifying a set of key clinical priorities that will support improvement and transformation across our group. These priorities align with our wider group strategy and our Fit for the Future programme, which is helping us shape services that are sustainable, effective and responsive to the needs of our population.

This is an exciting moment for our group. By working together, we can build on the strengths of both organisations, providing more consistent, high-quality care while making the very best use of our expertise, our people and our resources.

At the heart of the plan is a simple ambition: to ensure every patient receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time. It supports a stronger community-first approach, with more services delivered closer to home whenever it is safe and appropriate to do so, while ensuring our hospitals continue to provide outstanding specialist and emergency care for those who need it most.

We know that the passion, expertise and commitment of our staff are our greatest strengths. Together, we can create services that are more connected, more sustainable and even better for the communities we serve.
