Local people are being invited to take a closer look at their local NHS and discover more about the services caring for communities across Dudley at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting next month.
The event will take place at Russells Hall Hospital and will provide an opportunity for members of the public to hear about the Trust’s achievements over the past year, learn about future plans, ask questions, and meet some of the teams delivering care across Dudley.
As health and healthcare remain among the issues people care about most, the Annual Members’ Meeting offers a valuable opportunity for residents to understand more about the services available to them and contribute to conversations about the future of healthcare. The Trust is committed to working closely with local people and communities, building on its strong programme of engagement and partnership working across the borough.
A Health Fayre will offer visitors the chance to meet healthcare professionals and community organisations, find out more about local services, access health and wellbeing information and advice, and explore a range of interactive displays and information stands. Attendees will be able to discover how services are supporting local communities, learn more about healthy lifestyles and prevention, and find out where to go for help and support when they need it.
Alongside the formal meeting, visitors will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes in some of the Trust’s busiest clinical areas through a series of guided tours. Tours will include opportunities to visit cardiology, maternity services, theatres and therapies, giving attendees a unique insight into the care, technology and expertise involved in supporting patients every day.
Information stands and displays will also showcase a wide range of hospital and community services, with staff on hand to offer advice, answer questions and explain how local people can access support.
